Rusty was found as a stray in very poor condition by a good Samaritan who hoped to nurse him back to health.

They realized it was more than they could handle, so coordinated with local animal control to get him to SEVA GRREAT. According to his foster dad, Rusty “is the goodest boy”. He came to us in November of 2018 after spending some time on his own in Dinwiddie. He needed some attention from the nice folks at the Midlothian Animal Clinic, who took care of some dental work and his neuter. His kidneys aren’t great, but he is doing well on his special diet! He likes his little brother, Tater, and rolls around and wrestles on the floor with him. He likes being near the fire when its cold out, and he likes lying in the grass when its warm. He also likes riding around in his dad’s old pickup truck (in the cab, not the bed). He’s about 14 years old and doing great! He does have some seasonal allergy issues and was recently started on Cytopoint injections which have helped. He’s a wonderful addition to our family.
