Medical Coordinator - Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Medical Coordinator is to oversee and facilitate the veterinary care of the foster dogs.  Works closely with intake, foster and adoption directors to prepare foster goldens for successful adoption. Familiarity with the breed and the health conditions common in Golden Retrievers is essential. Prior experience in either veterinary care or a medical background is ideal for this position, along with an eagerness to listen/learn and ask appropriate questions.  Must be able to communicate effectively with veterinary professionals, board members, and foster families.

Intake Coordinator

Current SEVA GRREAT By-laws:

It shall be the duty of the Intake Coordinator to:

- respond to SPCA’s, shelters and “owner surrenders”

- conduct preliminary assessment of dog to determine viability of being taken into SEVA GRREAT

- when applicable complete full intake process including all paperwork

- coordinates intake activities with Foster Coordinator

- provide a monthly report of the dogs entering the system

SEVA GRREAT Job Description for Treasurer

Current SEVA GRREAT By-laws:

It shall be the duty of the Treasurer to receive and have charge of all funds of SEVA GRREAT and shall deposit same to the credit of the organization in such depository as may be designated by the Board of Directors. The Treasurer shall pay all bills duly approved by the Board and keep books of accounts of all the receipts and expenditures. The Treasurer shall make a report, showing the receipts, disbursements, and cash balance on hand at each regular meeting. The Treasurer shall provide information and filings to governmental authorities as required.
